We are looking at the history of coalmining in South Wales from Victorian times to the 1960’s

We have visited Big Pit and Swansea museum and Dylan Thomas Theatre. We really enjoyed it and learned so much.

Josef Herman painted this picture of a miner in the 1940’s and 50’s and we are using his work as inspiration for our art this term.

 

Please try to learn your x tables this half term as much as possible. Play games, listen to CD’s and talk about maths as much as possible with your friends and family!
